Most of my clients have already tried ChatGPT and come away wondering what the fuss was about. That's rarely a tool problem. Nobody has looked closely at how the business actually runs before trying to automate a piece of it.
So that's where I start. The intake that takes four emails to complete. The document somebody retypes every week out of another document. The follow-up that never happens because it's late Friday. I find where the hours are going, build something that handles them, and stay on afterward to keep it working.
I also edit a monthly print magazine for Orthodox Jewish families, and I run it end to end: editorial, production, print, postal compliance, and the online store. Software people talk about shipping. Putting out a magazine means a truck leaves on a date whether you're ready or not. Most of what I build for clients I built for myself first, under that deadline.
Before this I worked in curriculum development and educational publishing, mainly on the editing and digital distribution side.
I studied linguistics at the university level and hold a degree in advanced rabbinic studies from the Yeshiva and Kollel Bais Medrosh Elyon in Monsey. I live in Rockland County, New York with my family, and I translate classical rabbinic texts when the week leaves room for it.
